Easily configure the special invitation link and email that gives clients access to their own account in your portal. Encourage self-service and peer invitations, with clients able to update their own account info and invite their colleagues to use the client portal.
Using this guide, you can:
Clients do not have access to their Client Portal until they receive invitations. You can customize the template used when your clients are invited to the use the Portal in your Configuration.
Note - You will be able to adjust and personalize the content of each invitation before choosing to send to a client.
The client portal invitation will automatically include the contact's login details and a guide to accessing the portal, but the rest of the content can be customized by you using the rich text editor:
To configure the Invite a Client email template:
Go to the Client Portal Configuration page and choose Invitations.
Choose the Invite a Client tab.
Choose the default Subject.
Enter the body of the message, including any special formatting you like - such as bullet points, links or even images.
Your clients will also be able to invite their colleagues to use your portal. If those colleagues aren't already in your client database, they’ll automatically be added in when they create their account. This means that your clients are not only interacting with you, but they’ll be spreading the word about your business as well.
You can customize the Client Invite Colleague template used when your clients invite their peers.
To configure the Client Invite Colleague email template:
Go to the Client Portal Configuration page and choose Invitations.
Choose the Client Invite Colleague tab.
Use Recipient Substitution Fields on the right side of the screen to customize your message.
Choose the default Subject.
Enter the body of the message, including any special formatting you like - such as bullet points, links or even images.
Click Save to finish.
