Syncing your Deals

Now that you've set up your HubSpot integration, you can begin to sync your deals pipeline.

Prerequisites for syncing a deal

We understand that not every deal can or should be synced with Accelo.  Before a deal is synced, it must meet all of these criteria:

  • Associated company synced: The deal must be associated with a company, and that company have been synced with Accelo via the HubSpot CRM integration.  In cases where multiple companies are associated, this is the Primary Company.
  • Associated contact synced: The deal must be associated with a contact, and that contact have been synced with Accelo via the HubSpot CRM integration.  In cases where multiple contacts are associated, this is the Primary Contact.
  • Stage has been mapped: The deal's current stage must have been mapped via the status mapping tool.
  • Stage is Won: By default the HubSpot Deals integration only syncs deals in the "closedwon" stage. If you'd like to customize this requirement to sync additional deals, please reach out to your Accelo account manager.

Automatically Sync Updates to Deals

The Hubspot Deals integration offers a bi-directional sync, automatically syncing new and updated deals between the two systems.

To ensure an accurate and up-to-date pipeline, the HubSpot Deals integration detects updates in real-time and aims to process them as quickly as possible.  The time for these updates to be applied will vary depending on the number of updates being processed, but should range between a few seconds up to a maximum of ten minutes.  Because these changes can occur very frequently, no email notification is generated - the new or updated record will appear automatically.
