Create JIRA Application link (Atlassian.net Users)

Application Links allow you to add a JIRA field into your Issues/Tickets, synchronizing your updates across both JIRA and Accelo.

This page does not apply to JIRA OnDemand users. This page only applies if your JIRA deployment is at a URL like deployment.atlassian.net or if you're hosting your own instance of the service.

Using this guide, you can:

Create Application link (Atlassian.net Users)

Below, is a step by step process on how to set this up:

  1. Before you can integrate with JIRA, login to your JIRA account and go to the Application Admin System screen.

  2. Under Applications click Application Links.

  3. Type in Accelo.com and Create New Link

  4. You'll be prompted to confirm the URL. Just hit the checkbox for Use This URL, and then hit Continue.

  5. Type in Accelo as the Application Name, and choose Generic Application. Also tick the Create incoming link option. Then hit Continue. Do not enter in any other requested information at this time.

  6. On the next page, enter the following information.

    Consumer Key

    Consumer Name: Accelo
    Public Key: MFwwDQYJKoZIhvcNAQEBBQADSwAwSAJBALr8qrESjXyqmeuvkqhrnYaUvcfkWA3kdryjWNOGEwwsmHiqGttmkbfPUPB3GFu28buAwgu22lcEcOhNufz0DMcCAwEAAQ==

  7. Click Continue to finish. Once the link has been created successfully, you can go back to Accelo and connect to JIRA from your integration screen.
